WORKSHOPS & COMMUNITY WORK
I grew up on community projects and youth schemes. This experience of being a ‘beneficiary’ has helped shape my work with young people and communities today.
Each year I work with hundreds of young people in schools, hospitals, theatres and Pupil Referral Units. This work involves anything from comedy workshops about how to fail, to playwriting projects, to healthy relationship education.
I also act as an education consultant in areas connected to PSHE and create resources, lesson plans and teacher training materials.
I’ve worked with a vast range of partners including The Royal Academy of Arts, Southbank Centre, The Kiln, Roundhouse, Battersea Arts Centre, Tender and The Royal Free Hospital School.
“Talia engaged the young people from the first second she met them. Her dynamic, positive and upbeat personality got their creativity flowing. So much so, that they fearlessly wrote fresh, powerful spoken word pieces”.
Ann Gilmore, Royal Academy of Arts
“I’ve worked with a lot of great facilitators and Talia’s the very best of them. She’s incredibly smart and intuitive as well as being fun and bringing great energy – there’s no one I’d rather work with”.
Jake Hayman, Founder of Future First
“A true professional, who motivates students and provides outstanding creative educational opportunities to excellent effect”.
Oliver Hamdi, Acland Burghley School
